Product Empties of April and May

Hello everyone! I know I haven't posted all of June and at this point I don't really have a good excuse for my lack of posts. So instead of rambling, I'm gonna go straight into the content!

Today, I'm showing you guys the products I've used up from April and May. The picture shows most of the products I've used up. Some of the stuff I've used up isn't featured in the photo because I tend to just throw away the empty packaging after I'm done with it. I'll try to link everything if possible.

1) Bath and Body Works Tis the Season 3-Wick Candle: This candle was a limited edition product during the holiday season that I finally finished! I didn't use this candle very much because I rotated it with my (many) holiday candles. I'm not the best at describing candles, but this had a strong cinnamon scent with a touch for a forest-y pine note. It's a definitely a candle that's appropriate for the holidays and the scent fills up the whole room. I'm sure when the holidays come again, I'll definitely repurchase this.

2) TIGI Bed Head Ego Boost Leave-In Conditioner: I swear this took me forever to use! This is suppose to help repair your split-ends, especially if you tend to brush your hair a lot. It was a light-weight gel that was a tad on the sticky side. It definitely made my hair softer, but I didn't notice any significant difference in my split ends. Sadly, I don't think I will repurchase this product just because it wasn't effective for me and I would rather try something else.

3) Aveeno Skin Relief Overnight Cream: This saved my skin during the dry, winter months! I have nothing but good things to say about this lotion! It's a good, inexpensive lotion that helps with dry, patchy elbows and legs. I also noticed that my skin stay moisturized for a good length of time whenever I used this product. I'll definitely repurchased this lotion when winter comes again!

4) Aveeno Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream: Another good Aveeno product! I seriously think that this brand is underrated in the beauty community. I guess because it's not scented, but usually unscented lotions irritate skin less than most others. I suffer from occasional break-outs of eczema (mostly during the winter) and this usually helped treat it. It wasn't a miracle worker, but it was more effective than other lotions that I've tried (both high-end and drugstore). I'll most likely repurchase, but I mostly rely on my prescription topical creams to treat my skin rashes.

5) The Face Shop White Tree Snow Clarifying Booster Toner: I was really excited to try the products from this line, but I was really disappointed. It's suppose to brighten skin by gently exfoliating and soften dehydrated, rough skin. However, I found that this product didn't really hydrate my skin at all (I have oily, combination skin). It was too light for the winter and too heavy for me during the winter. Despite using this for weeks, I didn't see any difference in my skin. It only provided a mediocre amount of moisture, which I only really used after I showered at night. Because of this, I'm definitely not buying this again, especially since this is not exactly cheap either.

6) Laneige Light Balancing Emulsion: One of my holy grail moisturizers/emulsions from one of my favorite brands! It's pretty basic but at the same time it hydrates my skin without making my skin get oily. I find this moisturizer is the best in the summer and in the mornings in the winter. i strongly recommend trying out this moisturizer if you have oily-combination skin and just want a good staple emulsion/moisturizer. I've gone through several bottles of this product I'll continue to repurchase it! I know Target sells Laneige now, but I haven't seen it in person. Anyone want to comment if they've seen it in stores?

7) Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover: This eye makeup remover is another great staple in my beauty routine! I used to use the Lancome Bi-Facil eye makeup remover, but I find the Neutrogena one is just as effective and much cheaper and convenient! This gets rave reviews in the beauty community and I completely agree. It effectively removes waterproof eye makeup. I apply this product on a cotton pad and then gently swipe it on my eyes. I don't know how many bottles at this point I've used, but I do know I will continue to repurchase this!

8) Urban Decay De-Slick Oil Control Makeup Setting Spray: I've been using this setting spray for a long time. It's suppose to be good with oil control, but I personally don't notice a significant difference with or without this product when it comes to oil control. However, I do like this product to just set my makeup after using a face powder. It gives my face a less cakey, powdery finish and I do like how the mist is very fine and even. Overall, I'm not in love with this setting spray and I wish I could find a cheaper dupe of this product. Until I find something better, I'll continue to repurchase this.

9) Laneige Brightening Sparkling Water Pop Essence: At first, I didn't really care for this product. I only really liked how it sprayed onto your hand and it felt very cooling on the skin. Other than this effect, I initially didn't notice too much on my skin. I finally was using this everyday, day and night for weeks and I noticed how my skin looked so much brighter and smoother. This product has become my staple essence and has replaced my Laneige Water Bank Essence for the summer! I just love the cooling sensation and the light consistency of this essence on my skin! With that being said, I wouldn't recommend this for the colder, drier months (even for those with oily, combination skin) because I don't find this hydrating enough for those seasons. I already repurchased of this product and will continue using this for the summer!

10) Laneige Original Essence White Plus Renew: Another great skincare product from Laneige. I love how it actually brightens my complexion and helps lighten my blemishes. I don't usually have break outs, but when I do, I have acne scars left over. However, this essence helps a lot. It's a pretty light consistency and it's not very hydrating, so I only really use this in the warmer months or in the mornings in the winter months. I definitely want to repurchase this again, but at the moment I'm rotating through other skincare and samples I have.

11) The Face Shop White Tree Snow Vita Lightening Cream: This cream is suppose to be paired with the booster toner of this same line that I mentioned above. I like this more than the booster, but I also was disappointed with this product. I didn't feel like it made a significant difference in my complexion and it was a bit too thick for my liking. I only used this at night and for my neck. This cream was relatively expensive and only gave me sub-par results. Therefore, I won't buy this again.

12) Laneige Multiberry Yogurt Repair Pack: Okay I've mentioned a lot of Laneige products and I pretty much have only said positive things about them. This product isn't an exception (I swear I'm not sponsored by them!!). This is suppose to be a mask you use after cleansing and toner. I love using this in conjunction with their Multiberry Yogurt Peeling Gel and I find my skin is very smooth afterwards. A side bonus is that this product smells sooooo good! It really does smell like berries!

13) Laneige Perfect Renew Essence and Refiner: As seen in the picture, I only have sample sizes of this line. This is suppose to be an anti-aging line, so I'm not seeing any significant difference in my skin. It might work to prevent wrinkles in the future, but at the moment I'm not that impressed with it. It gets the job done, but I don't think I'm going to purchase the full size of this line anytime soon.

14) Shiseido White Lucent Brightening Protective Emulsion: Another sample size product that I got with a gift with purchase. I like how this wasn't too moisturizing. It's a pretty light consistency, which is perfect for my combination-oily skin. However, I didn't notice any significant difference in my skin so I might not purchase a full size version.

15) M.A.C. Fluidline in Blacktrack: One of the best gel eyeliners I've ever used. I literally had this eyeliner for years and finally got to the bottom of the pot LOL. I love the creamy consistency and it stay on all day long! There were many instances where I apply it as early as 6 AM and then it would still look fresh by midnight. It's that amazing. I would repurchase this product (especially since the price isn't too bad), but I'm enjoying using other eyeliners at the moment.

16) Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Per Couture Vernis A Levres Glossy Stain in #7: Holy crap, that's a long name lol. Despite the long name, I love this lip product. It's a highly-pigmented lip stain that has a glossy effect. I love how this stays on my lips for a long time. It's a coral-nude color, which is perfect for everyday wear. My 2 main problems with this is that it's on the sticky side and the huge price tag. This glossy stain retails $32....which is pretty expensive for a lip product. Although I don't regret purchasing, I will only buy it after using up other lip products.

17) Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner in Deep Black: My holy grail liquid eyeliner. I just love the brush-pen eyeliner style. It's the easiest way to use liquid eyeliner and I find it's also the quickest way to apply liquid eyeliner. The staying power of this eyeliner is also fantastic: I can literally wear it all day and all night long and it won't budge until I remove it. The only thing I wish is that this can be found in stores in the U.S. I don't particularly like having to order and wait for it to arrive.

18) L'Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara in Blackest Black: Just as a FYI, I always use waterproof mascara because the nonwaterproof formula never stays on my lashes and waterproof formulas always keep my curl. I tried this mascara in the waterproof version and I wasn't too impressed. I don't know if it's the formula, wand or because of the waterproof aspect, but i felt this didn't really do my lashes anything. It wasn't bad, but I could definitely get better results with a cheaper drugstore mascara. Therefore, I won't be repurchasing this.

And that concludes my products empties! I know this was a long post, but I had a lot of products that I ended up finishing. I love reading these types of posts from other bloggers because I get to see more realistic judgement on products being reviewed. I'll definitely be able to post another one this week (I  promise!) so definitely check back here :)

Hope you all have a great weekend!
